‘Eco Christmas’ launch event – Saturday 3rd December

Come along to the Transition Dartmouth Park launch
2pm-4pm, Highgate Newtown Community Centre (Fresh Youth Academy hall)
Fun for the kids, local food tasters, ‘give & take’ present-swap stall.

Give and take – bring something you’d like to give away for Christmas e.g. a used toy, book, clothes, plants, some homemade jam, and take away something you’d like to receive.
Local food tasters and cake stall – try samples of our wild pesto, apple chutney and rosehip cordial, and please bring along a homemade cake for our stall.
Kids recycled christmas decoration making – decorate your house this Christmas without harming the environment or blowing your budget.

There will also be a chance to find out more about the Transition movement with speakers from our own and neighbouring Transition groups, and to hear what we are planning in Dartmouth Park, so we hope to see you there.
