Seedy Saturday – 24th March

12pm-3pm Highgate Newtown Community Centre, Bertram Steet, NW5

Come and celebrate the start of Spring with Transition Dartmouth Park, and hear about our new community food growing project. Swap seeds and seedlings, meet local food growers and get gardening advice.

Learn: balcony growing, unusual salad leaves & dressings, wormeries, making green manure.
Kids activities: fresh pasta-making and the chance to get planting.

Speakers will include Guerilla Gardener Richard Reynolds and Tom Moggach – author of ‘The Urban Kitchen Gardener:Growing & Cooking in the City’.

The cafe will be serving an organic, seasonal, locally sourced lunch.
Please come along, bring seeds, seedlings and plants to swap.
